💭 Tips for success

Throw the best Super Bowl party ever with these easy recipes and the tips below. Just be prepared for everyone to beg you to host next year, too!

  • For the best game day spread, choose Super Bowl recipes that complement each other. Stick with a theme like Tex-Mex or BBQ flavors.
  • Try to vary the snacking options, including a variety of carbs, veggies, meats, and cheeses! This way, your Super Bowl appetizers will taste balanced and filling as a meal.
  • I like to pick one or two recipes from each heading (dip, finger-food appetizer, main casserole, and dessert) so there's enough for everyone.
  • Prep is key! Feel free to use kitchen shortcuts to save time—my favorites are pre-chopped veggies and frozen bags of peppers and onions.
  • However, never take a short-cut with the cheese. For the creamiest, gooiest dips and casseroles, buy the types of cheese that come in a block. Pre-shredded doesn’t melt as well!
  • Cook anything you can in the crockpot. This way, you can switch it to the warm setting and your delicious Super Bowl dips will stay creamy and hot, even if the game goes into overtime!
