📅 Food Holidays
We celebrate a couple of fun food holidays this week. They're silly little holidays but it gives us an opportunity to make some memories and have some fun!
- November 12 is National Pizza Day
- November 14 is Pickle Appreciation Day... and I'm telling you I appreciate these pickled Jalapenoes!
- November 16 National Fast Food Day but you don't have to go out - try this copycat Popyeye's Chicken, Whataburger Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, or Red Robin Campfire Sauce!
- November 17 is Homemade Bread Day and I have a lot of recipes. Take your pick - they're all fabulous!
As we get closer to the holidays don't forget to pick up extra baking supplies here and there so you'll have plenty on hand and not have to buy everything at once. You can also double up the dinner rolls and freeze half.
Thinking ahead and planning now will save time and stress later!
Here are some tips for this week -
- I love freezing the tequila lime chicken in recipe sized portions. It makes great burrito bowls, too!
- Double up on the queso - you'll need extra for the Taco Stuffed Shells.
- Move the days around as you need to. Don't forget there are more meal plans here.
