Peanut Butter Cup Blondies with Pretzels

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted until golden brown
  • 2/3 cup peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/3 cups quartered Reese's Peanut Butter Cups or snack sized peanut butter cups
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pretzels


  • 8 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream


  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Grease a 13x9-inch pan.
  • Blend the browned butter and the peanut butter until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time.
  • Add the sugars and vanilla extract and beat until the batter is no longer grainy.
  • Stir in the flour.
  • Carefully stir in the pretzels and peanut butter cups.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until just done.
  • Remove from the oven.


  • Heat the heavy cream to a simmer.
  • Stir in the chocolate until melted and smooth.


  • Cover the bars with the ganache.
  • Chill until firm.
