🧾 Ingredients

If you don't have a coffee maker that will make espresso just make your regular coffee double strength. You'll also need light brown sugar - I forgot it in the image above.

- Pour the milk into a sauce pan.
- Add the coffee.
- Add the caramel and vanilla and whisk over medium heat until it simmers. Set aside.
- In a chilled bowl, whisk the heavy cream with the confectioners sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

Pour the coffee into mugs, top with the whipped cream and sprinkle with light brown sugar.
💭 Things to know
Expert Tip: If you don't have an espresso maker then make your normal coffee double strength.
- Heat the coffee mug up with hot water before adding the latte. It will stay hot longer.
- If you want more flavor use a salted caramel coffee syrup in addition to the other ingredients in your coffee drink.
- Squiggle sauce around the inside of your cup before adding the latte for a little extra sparkle.

- Make these low carb by using 0 carb sugar substitutes, sugar free salted caramel coffee syrup, and half and half or heavy cream in place of the milk.
- You can substitute any nondairy milk (coconut, soy, oat, etc) for the milk in this recipe to make it dairy free.
- Use coconut milk and coconut cream in place of the milk and heavy cream to make this vegan.
- Sprinkle some fleur de sel or other large salt crystals on top just before serving.
- Add a little splash of Bailey's Irish Cream or Kahlua.

Latte

- Bring to a gentle simmer and remove from heat.

- Add the cream to a chilled bowl.
- Whisk until it starts to thicken.
- Add in the Confectioner's sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Whisk until soft peaks form.
