Shaped & Rolled Cookies
Shaped and rolled cookies are some of our very favorites! Sugar cookies are fun to make for just about any occasion and what would fall be without maple pecan sandies?
Here are some tips for perfect shaped and rolled cookies:
- Roll the dough out on lightly floured parchment paper so you don't have to use so much flour - this keeps the cookies tender
- Baking powder makes crispier cookies and baking soda makes softer cookies
- You can shape the cookies and then freeze them unbaked. When you're ready to bake just put them in the oven - no mess and you'll have fresh cookies!
