❀️ Why you'll love this recipe

Sex in the Driveway cocktail is a beautiful blue alcoholic drink that's made with vodka, blue curaçao, peach schnapps, and Sprite.

Think of it as a pretty blue Sex on the Beach

Warning - it's a fruity, girly vodka drink and sophisticated cocktail afficianados are likely to scoff at it's simplicity and simple flavor note... sweet.

Still, I think it's perfect for summer parties because it's so easy and everyone loves it.

Peach and orange flavors combine with fizzy Sprite to give flavor to the rather robust amount of vodka in this cocktail. It's easy to drink but one of those that can really sneak upon you.

You've been warned.

🧾 Ingredients

  • Peach schnapps
  • Blue curaΓ§ao
  • Vodka
  • Sprite or other lemon-lime soda
  • Crushed ice
  • Garnish of choice

πŸ”ͺ Instructions

Note: This is an overview of the instructions. The full instructions are in the green recipe card below.

  1. Place crushed ice in a highball glass.
  2. Add the Schnapps, Curaçao, and vodka.
  3. Carefully top off the glass with Sprite.

πŸŽ‰ By the pitcher

This bright blue vodka cocktail doesn't need to be blended or shaken so it's great when you need a pitcherful. You can mix up the base and then add the Sprite or club soda as you need to.

If you are making a pitcher or punch wait to put the Sprite in until just before serving time or it will lose its fizz.

πŸ’ Things to know

Expert Tip: If this fruity mixed drink is too sweet for you then try making it with club soda. You still get the pretty color and the fun fizzy bubbles but without the extra sweetness.

  • Make this ahead of time for parties and pour it into pint jars with lids. Seal the jars and put into a container of ice. Your drinks stay cold and fizzy and you get to enjoy your party.
  • Make this low carb: Use the vodka, sugar free-Sprite, and a few drops of electric blue Mio water enhancer. Add sugar free peach syrup or water enhancer if you can find it.
  • Freeze Maraschino cherries inside ice cubes to add to this cocktail. It's really pretty and the colors don't bleed into each other.
  • If you have an ice cream maker this makes a great slushy drink! Add to your ice cream maker and mix until partially frozen. OR use a margarita machine!

I have no clue why this lovely adult drink has such a racy name but there you have it, it's a fact. I don't really understand why the kids' show Caillou is still on the air, either.

There are just some things that can't be explained.

It's a great vodka cocktail to make and serve in canning jars with tops screwed on. Make enough for all your guests then stick the jars in a kiddie pool full of ice along with some beer, coolers, and sodas.

And... I love y'all so drink responsibly, 'k?

I need to make this into a 3 gallon drink bowl what would the conversion be?

you can change it to up to 20 servings by clicking on the serving size and then moving the cursor up to as many servings as you need (up to 20) other than that I'd guess you'd have to do the math.

Do you have the quantities for making this in a larger batch such as a pitcher? Thanks

You just need to click on the number of servings in the recipe and it will let you adjust to however many servings you want. πŸ™‚

I don't get Caillou either. I believe I have had this drink before, but it was called a different name, but the name is, let's say rated R. It is a beautiful STRONG drink.
