❤️ Why you'll love it

  • quick and easy
  • just 5 net carbs; won't cause those pesky blood sugar spikes
  • made with fresh broccoli florets and bacon

I could eat this easy keto broccoli salad recipe all day every day. It's got a deliciously satisfying crunch and the flavor is truly out of this world.

Substitute this dressing on this broccoli and cauliflower salad and you've got a yummy variation. (You'll want to leave out the craisins)

📖 Variations

  • Add a little bit of Dijon mustard to the dressing.
  • Use sliced almonds or pine nuts in place of the sunflower seeds.
  • Try pumpkin seeds in place of sunflower seeds.
  • Add chopped, hard cooked egg.
  • Substitute sour cream for half the mayonnaise.
  • If you're not on low carb make it a traditional broccoli salad by substituting sugar for the sweetener.
  • Add cooked chicken breast to make it a main dish salad.

💭 Tips

Expert Tip: I like to add the crumbled bacon to each serving as it's served. That way if there's leftovers the bacon doesn't get limp from soaking up the dressing.

  • Any cup for cup sugar-free sweetener can be used. Always start with a little less and add sweetener to taste.
  • A concentrated sweetener like stevia or the pink packets will work but you'll want to use much, much less.
  • For best results cover and chill for at least an hour.
  • Make this recipe even faster by using pre-cooked bacon.
  • I like to use the bagged broccoli florets. It's quicker and easier than cleaning and cutting!
  • I also like to get diced red onion for this. It's a timesaver and I don't have to cry while cutting onions.
  • Grate cheese from a block rather than buying grated cheese in a package.

👩‍🍳 FAQs

Absolutely! It has just 2 grams of net carbs per ½ cup serving of raw broccoli.

Is mayonnaise keto-friendly?

Be sure to read the label. Most brands are keto-friendly but always check for added sugar and hidden carbs.

What's the difference between keto broccoli salad and keto broccoli slaw?

Not much! This broccoli salad uses florets and most broccoli slaws use strips of the broccoli step.
