This is where my best emails live once they've been sent-unfiltered, slightly unhinged, and written from the kitchen when something needed to be said. Sometimes it's recipes. Sometimes it's Picklefork stories. Sometimes it's comfort food philosophy. Sometimes it's just me side-eyeing life while the oven preheats. No polish. No pretending. Just the kind of notes you'd hear if you wandered into my kitchen at the wrong (or right) moment.

Think of this as the back-channel. The place where casseroles come with opinions, weeknights get real, and food is never just food. If it feels like a friend leaning on the counter, lowering her voice, and saying "okay, listen…"-you're in the right place.
