🧾 Ingredients for chicken and waffle skewers
Nothing fancy here, just everyday stuff that somehow turns into brunch magic on a stick. If you can toast a waffle and open a syrup bottle, you’re qualified.
- Chicken nuggets – Store-bought, frozen, and proudly judgment-free. Pick your favorite, or just grab whatever’s on sale and vaguely chicken-shaped.
- Frozen mini waffles – Or regular ones ruthlessly cut down to size like a Southern aunt’s passive-aggressive compliments.
- Maple syrup – The real stuff if you’re fancy, or the bottle with the smiling grandma if you’re feeling nostalgic and chaotic.
- Butter – Melted, golden, and absolutely not optional. This is brunch, not a health seminar.
- Ground chipotle – For a smoky little kick that says, “I may be on a stick, but I’ve got opinions.”
- Skewers – Because food on a stick is always 37% more fun and exactly 0% more complicated.

Print Pin Recipe Rate RecipeIngredients
- 24 ounces frozen chicken nuggets, about 20 pieces

- ¼ cup melted butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup, plus more for drizzling
- 1 pinch ground chipotle , optional

Instructions
- Bake the nuggets according to the package directions. We want 'em hot and crispy.

- In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter and maple syrup. Add a pinch of cayenne or chipotle if you want to sass it up.
- Brush the waffles lightly with the maple butter mixture for extra holiday magic.
- Assemble the skewers: waffle on the bottom, nugget on top. Skewer through both.
- Drizzle with maple syrup just before serving—or set out a small bowl for dipping.

Sweet, salty, melty, and just chaotic enough to cause an appetizer pile-up. These little guys disappear faster than gossip at a baby shower.
Crispy Baked Wings
Hot, crispy, and just dangerous enough to make you forget your manners. Napkins optional. Finger-licking? Required.
Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits
Soft, sticky, and wildly inappropriate in the best possible way. Like your favorite ex, but edible and way more reliable.

They might be this year's Christmas party appetizer. I usually take cherry tomato and mozzarella pearls on a skewer, marinated in Italian dressing. They are quick, easy, and everyone loves them

Wow! Looks amazing how you transformed plain frozen chicken nuggets and waffles into a fancy looking sophisticated version. Who wouldn't love crunchy, buttery, savory and enhanced with a spicy and sweet dipping sauce. And everyone seems to love food on a stick. This is sure to be a hit at any type of a gathering and addictive too. Have chicken nuggets in the freezer but only regular frozen waffles. Going to buy the minis next time I go grocery shopping. If I'm going to make this , want to do it right, so it looks just like your photo--impressive.
