24ouncesmini frozen wafflesEggo minis work perfectly
¼cupmelted butter
¼cupmaple syrupplus more for drizzling
1pinchground chipotle optional
20toothpicks or 4–6" appetizer skewers
Instructions
Bake the nuggets according to the package directions. We want 'em hot and crispy.
While the nuggets bake, toast the mini waffles until golden. Try not to eat them all.
In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter and maple syrup. Add a pinch of cayenne or chipotle if you want to sass it up.
Brush the waffles lightly with the maple butter mixture for extra holiday magic.
Assemble the skewers: waffle on the bottom, nugget on top. Skewer through both.
Drizzle with maple syrup just before serving—or set out a small bowl for dipping.
Notes
Storage:Store fully assembled skewers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to bring back the crisp. Microwave if you're feeling lazy, but don't expect applause.Tips:Party hack: Assemble ahead, then warm in the oven before serving. That way you can look calm and collected while secretly being two mimosas in.
