Lipton Onion Soup mix potato recipe could not be easier! About 5 minutes prep time and 20 minutes in the oven for a delicious side dish that's full of onion flavor.
Preheat oven to 425℉ and cover a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
Melt the butter in a large, microwave safe bowl.
Add in the potatoes and roll them around until they are well covered with the butter mixture.
Sprinkle with the Lipton Onion Soup Mix and garlic powder.
Place in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, turning once.
Place in a serving bowl, sprinkly with thyme or parsley, and serve.

Storage:Store leftover onion soup mix potatoes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Potatoes do not freeze well.Tips:
Always wash potatoes before seasoning them to remove any dirt or grime from the skin.
Roast the potatoes in either a large, rimmed baking sheet or a glass 9-inch baking dish. Just make sure they're arranged in a single layer.
Stir halfway through roasting time.

Can’t find baby Yukon gold potatoes at the grocery store? You can use regular-size potatoes as long as you chop them into large chunks so they cook all the way through.
If you substitute russet potatoes you HAVE TO peel them!
If you use whole medium potatoes, you’ll need to increase the cooking time by at least 15-20 minutes.
