Lemonade Frosting

: Perfect compliment to the lemonade cake

  • 10 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1 scoop powdered lemonade mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • Heavy cream to make the frosting the right consistancy


  • Mix powdered sugar and lemonade mix
  • Beat in butter and vanilla until well mixed
  • Add the cream 1 tablespoon at a time until the frosting is soft and spreadable
  • Fill between the layers of the cake with the frosting. Cover the cake with the remaining frosting. If you like a lot of frosting make a double batch.
