Expert Tip: If cream soda makes it too sweet for your tastes you can use club soda.
Use mini candy canes, one per 2 ½ ounces of vodka.
Crush the candy canes up and drop them in a Mason jar with the vodka. They usually dissolve in 5 minutes or so – give the jar a good shake.
If you like it a little sweeter add a teaspoon of simple syrup.
Rub a thin ribbon of corn syrup on the rim of the glass and roll it in crushed candy canes.
You can also rim the glass with colored sugar.
Crush the ice in the blender to make it almost like snow.

A couple of days before your party make your infused vodka by adding candy canes and vodka to a quaart jar. A quart jar holds 32 ounces – enough for about 12 cocktails. If you don't have time for that infuse for at least an hour or two.
Mix 12 ounces of peppermint schnapps with the infused vodka.
For each drink you’ll need 3 ½ ounces of the mix and 4 to 6 ounces of cream soda.
