Lavender Lemonade – And Then Some
The delicate flavor of lavender with the not so delicate kick of vodka.

Ingredients
2 ½
cups
water
1 ½
cups
sugar
¼
cup
lavender buds
2 ½
cups
water

cup
lemon juice
12
to 16 oz of vodka or Absolut Citron Vodka
Lemon slices
Instructions
Bring 2 ½ cups water and sugar to a
boil
.
Heat until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat and add the lavender.
Allow to come to room temperature.
Strain the lavender out of the lavender syrup.
Add the last 2 ½ cups of water, lemon juice, and vodka.
Stir.
Add sliced lemon.
Serve over ice in tall glasses.
Notes
Adjust the amount of vodka to taste.
May substitute Moscato for Vodka for a sparkling beverage
