Compound Butter
A basic recipe for garlic compound butter. Use the basic amounts to make your own flavor combinations.

/2 cup compound butter

Ingredients
½
cup
unsalted butter
2
tablespoons
roasted garlic
, cooled and minced
1
tablespoon
minced basil
1
tablespoon
finely grated parmesan
salt to taste
Instructions
Let butter come to room temperature
Mix in the garlic, basil, and Parmesan.
Let stand for 10 minutes, taste and add salt as needed.
Let stand for 20 more minutes.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
Use the best butter you can afford - the flavor will make a difference in this.
