Perfect Brownies
Chewy, fudgy, perfect brownies are easy to make. This basic recipe lets you create an infinite number of variations by adding chocolate chips, chopped pecans, dried fruit, or whatever you like.

Ingredients

cup
unsalted butter-melted
1 ½
cup
sugar

eggs
½
teaspoon
vanilla
¾
cup
flour
½
cup
dark cocoa powder
the darkest you can find...do not substitute baking chocolate
¼
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Cream
sugar, melted butter until smooth.
Add eggs one at a time.
beat
well. add flavorings.
Stir in dry ingredients.
Spread into a greased 9 inch pan.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
