Just about two months ago a ThermoWorks rep and asked if I’d be interested in reviewing their product. I am always on the lookout for new kitchen gadgets — especially those that really do make my cooking chores easier. When the box came in the mail it was like Christmas!
They were sweet to send me everything in red — y’all know what a big fan I am. If red doesn’t do it for you don’t worry. There are other colors to choose from. In fact, there are nine different colors to choose from!

ThermoWorks Thermapen – My Favorite
I use the ThermoWorks Thermapen constantly. Best digital thermometer EVER. It was originally designed for commercial kitchens but it is becoming really popular among homecooks — if you use it once you’ll know why. First of all they are made by hand in England. They are also compact so I can keep it in my chef’s coat pocket while I am working. Here’s the real deal. The Thermapen will give you interior temperatures really fast, and when I say really fast I mean like less than three seconds for a super-accurate temperature reading. I love that the probe folds up against the body of the Thermapen for storage. The probe is thin enough that you can double check your bread or cake internal temperature without it being real obvious.
And it has many other uses as you can see.
The ChefAlarm is my second favorite gadget that ThermoWorks makes. It’s splash-proof, which I love in my kitchen because I am a messy cook. It will let you know when your dish reaches the temperature you prefer. It’s awesome when you are making several things at once because you can concentrate on one thing, confident in the fact that your roast will be perfectly done. It has count down and count up timers as well.
I keep theThermopop in my pocket because it’s quick to grab and stick into meat or simmering liquid to see exactly what temperature everything’s at. It has a rotating display so you can read it at any angle. It will have an accurate temperature reading within five or six seconds and I am telling you this little thing is convenient and easy to use. No more overcooked chicken breast!
The TimeStick is a timer that you are going to love. You can hang it around your neck or slip it into the pocket of your chef’s coat. You can even pop it on to any magnetic surface. When a count-down alarm sounds, the count-up timer starts so you will see how much time elapses after your alarm. You can set for up to 24 hours.
All of these products are heavy duty and are going to last simply forever. Splash-proof everything means that you don’t have to worry about anything if you are messy like me. I think these are perfect for Christmas stockings, Mother’s Day, birthdays, or any other occasion. Personally, if the family didn’t get me some I’d treat myself.
You can pick these up about anywhere. Amazon carries them or you can get them on the Thermoworks Website.
