Summer is almost over. Here in Texas the 100 degree temps have hung on — sort of like trying to give a cat a bath… you know — they cling to whatever part of you they can get their claws into.
We know that the heat will be gone soon, though. While I won’t be sorry that it is gone, and it will be nice to be able to walk barefoot on the driveway without hearing the soles of my feet sizzle like bacon in an iron skillet, the foods of summer will be missed.
This recipe for grilled pork loin chops and peaches is a delightful way to say goodbye to warm weather and those fresh flavors.
