Ziplist Featured Partner and the Bells and Whistles That Go Along with It!

online recipe box

I am always looking for ways to make Restless Chipotle better and more user-friendly. There are a lot of reasons for that but basically it boils down to I am a perfectionist and I like things to be “All Awesome All the Time”

The blog has been growing… a lot. You guys have shared the site with your friends, said wonderful things about it and commented and interacted with me both here and on the Facebook page. I love it! We have created a community together. I have had a list in my head of several things I wanted to do and I am happy to announce that I have partnered with Ziplist to make a few of these things a reality.

You probably noticed that all of the newer recipes use Ziplist and allow you to print them. I am slowly changing the older recipes over to the new format as well – but with well over 1300 recipes it is really tedious!

Now, with just a click of a button on your keyboard you can save them to your own online recipe box so that you can make them later. And hey, paperless… it’s very environmentally responsible!

But, that’s not all.

You can also create a shopping list from the recipes in your recipe box that you want to make. How cool is that?  More and more sites are using Ziplist.

I sort of feel like the chauffeur’s daughter that got invited to the country club gala. Hellooooooo Cinderella!

The really cool thing is that you don’t have to have a different recipe box for every site. You can add to your virtual recipe collection on any of the hundreds of sites that use Ziplist…

And that’s not all. They also have a FREE  phone app so that you can access your recipes and shopping list online. How much time is THAT going to save?

I love this.

This is one of the more important improvements but it is not the last. I have some great ideas to implement. Be sure and like the RestlessChipotle page on facebook because “membership has its benefits”. Facebook members will be able to give input and ideas about some of the upcoming changes before anyone else knows about them.

If you look to the sidebar right under subscription options it says Your Recipe Box. Click on the link and create your own recipe box…. then? Get clicking!
